On September 20, some 30 volunteers from Dell EMC and CDW Canada spent an afternoon removing trash and microplastics from the Humber Bay Park Shoreline as part of the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup. This cleanup aligns perfectly with Dell’s 2020 #LegacyofGood, which aims to help people reach their full potential and share in the common good.

Over the course of two hours, our volunteers collected and removed 103 pounds of trash, solidifying our partnership through this combined team effort.

“We were really inspired by the Dell Legacy of Good and wanted to do something locally to help,” says Michael Carnevale, Manager, PPM Solutions at CDW.  “Teams from Dell EMC and CDW came together, rolled up their sleeves and got to work.  It was inspiring to see how much we were able to collect in a short time but also humbling to see how much was still left behind.”
