CDW is pleased to offer a large selection of education and enterprise licences to Ontario’s education sector, public sector and other not-for-profit organizations through our OECM software licence agreement. Previously, this agreement included CylancePROTECT software, which was acquired by BlackBerry in 2019. As a result, we will now be offering the following BlackBerry software solutions to Ontario public sector customers via our OECM agreement:

BlackBerry Spark Suite (including UEM Suite and UEM Express Suite)

BlackBerry Spark Suite harnesses one view across all endpoints and provides visibility across the entire enterprise. It can be deployed on premises or in the cloud to meet even the highest security requirements.

The BlackBerry Spark Suite will protect people, devices, networks and apps by offering improved cross-platform visibility, cyberthreat prevention and remediation, while simplifying administration.

BlackBerry Cyber Suite (including BlackBerry Optics)

The BlackBerry Cyber Suite is an integrated set of state-of-the-art security controls and processes that provide a foundation for a zero trust security architecture with security controls that span from traditional endpoints to mobile to IoT devices.

BlackBerry® Optics is an EDR solution that extends threat prevention by using artificial intelligence to prevent security incidents. BlackBerry Optics provides true AI incident prevention, root cause analysis, smart threat hunting and automated detection, response and remediation capabilities.

BlackBerry AtHoc Alert

BlackBerry AtHoc AlertTM is a comprehensive end-to-end emergency notification capability that unifies all communication modalities to alert everyone you care about with a single click. Using a single, web-based console or smartphone/tablet app, emergency managers can provide two-way communication across the entire enterprise or community to virtually any device with real-time speed and assured reach.

3 ways BlackBerry solutions are helping to protect public sector employees

1.BlackBerry endpoint security is helping hospitals across Canada protect their endpoints from malware and cyberthreats on a daily basis by leveraging the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning to prevent attacks. For small IT security teams, this allows them to secure their environments without committing more resources dedicated to managing solutions.

2.BlackBerry endpoint management offers a single platform that streamlines the management process across devices, apps, files and users and provides public sector employees with access to critical systems – from wherever they are working – to securely communicate and collaborate with one another, while keeping sensitive data safe.

3.BlackBerry AtHoc® unifies critical communications within and between organizations to connect provincial and local agencies and the communities they serve. It allows mass notifications across both public broadcasts and personal communications such as email, phone and mobile devices in the event of a crisis.
